Upon arrival, contact the Harbormasters on VHF channels 16 or 73 (preferred), and stop by the Harbormaster office to register.

Harbormasters are on duty seven days a week, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., May through September.

The Harbormaster office is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

ALL VESSELS MUST HAVE A SIGNED REGISTRATION ON FILE AT THE HARBORMASTER OFFICE!

ALL BALANCES FOR HARBOR USE MUST BE PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO DEPARTURE!

**It is required that all vessels entering the harbor to use open moorage come into the Harbormaster office to sign a registration form**

The Harbormaster Office is located in the parking lot above Bar Harbor North. The building has public restrooms, showers, and a public telephone for your convenience.

There are three fuel docks in Ketchikan; two are located to the south of downtown, and one is located to the north of downtown. There are tidal grids at Thomas Basin and Bar Harbor. Reservations are required for the use of grids. The gear float is located in Bar Harbor North and is available at no charge. There are two cranes and a hoist available. The harbors are in close proximity to 72-hour parking lots, restrooms, showers, a laundry facility, and grocery stores. Public transportation includes a local bus route and taxis.
